Next Introductory Course
A Free Lecture will be given the week before the course commences, on Thursday Evening September 15 at 7pm. This lecture will give an overview of the Introductory Course and last about an hour.
The Introductory Course will be offered at our premises at 102 Beaufort Street, Perth in September as follows:
Wednesday September 21, at 7.00pm
Thursday September 22, at 7.00pm
Saturday September 24, at 9.30am

Spring Lectures
Thursday 1st & 8th September from 7pm
A two part series of Lectures will be held in September 2011 at 102 Beaufort Street, Perth.
These topics are a precursor or preview to the 2011 Philosophy Expo to be held in November.
Mr Phillip Avard will present “Who or What controls your Life? The Ego or you?”, an enquiry into the teachings of Eckhart Tolle.
Dr Clive Lamond will present “The Matter Delusion”, the aim of this talk is to show how that all of man’s miseries can be derived from the false belief in the material nature of reality.
The cost is $25.00 per person per talk.

Term 2, 2011 – Mid Term Break

A reminder, too, that there is a mid-term break during the term.
There will be no classes during the week Friday June 24 to Friday July 1, 2011. All groups will resume from Saturday July 2, 2011.

Philosophy Street

Come and talk to strangers at a conversation dinner with a theme gently steered by a philosopher over delicious steaming tajines at Meeka Restaurant in Subiaco. This season, Philosophy Street takes you for a look at the idea of an anthropic universe: a world set up so that human beings could eventually emerge. So many physical constants, so many aspects of our solar system, so much seems to be finely tuned for our benefit. What are the implications of a universe that seems exquisitely designed for us to exist?
Fee includes dinner, and a cash bar is available.
