Youth & Young Professionals Retreat, Sydney Australia, 15 – 22 Jan 2012
Registration for next year’s retreat is open to all current and former students who have been offered meditation and are aged between 18 and 38. The main aim of this retreat is to provide you with the space to connect with your own eternal self. Simply, to ‘just be’. Click here for more info. (link to FAQ page).

During the retreat, you’ll have the opportunity to choose a group for a ‘professional elective’. You will meet with this group each day during the week. These sessions are designed to build continuity in one area that interests you, explore its links with spiritual practice and deepen this over the week.
The following electives will be on offer at the YYP Retreat.
Elective 1: The 3Ms – Mindfulness, Meaning and the Mind (Dr. Craig Hassed).
Elective 2: Getting your message across – Who are you? (Bronwyn Cross)
Elective 3: Creativity and the Arts (Demetrius Condos)
Elective 4: Discovering Your Gifts (Sharon Bragg)
Don’t forget, there will be plenty of opportunity to deepen your experience of ‘being’ in action through more active sessions like cooking, gardening, theatre and public speaking – along with regular sessions on tai-chi, meditation and reflection.

We hope that you leave this retreat having met an amazing group of dedicated young people, feeling re-energised and inspired, and with a deeper connection to your own essential being.
For more information go to yypretreat.com to register. Remember to tell your friends at the School so that they can join you. If you’d like more information, read our frequently asked questions or email us at info@yypretreat.com.
