Philosophy Expo 2011 Report




Thank you everyone for a fabulous day. The feedback was awesome. Our presenters were delighted with the input from the audience and likewise most of those attending found the day met their expectations.

Our aim for the event was threefold:

  • 1. To gain new knowledge
  • 2. To demolish wrong opinion or false ideas
  • 3. To remove doubt

    • Many of you had much to say about these objectives, and not surprisingly more questions arose than were answered. So the journey continues with much to reflect upon.

    Thank you again to all our presenters, and of course all those who attended, your participation and input ensured the day was a delight for all concerned.

    We also had a raffle on the day and some ‘lucky door’ prizes and the winners were as follows:

    Lucky Door prize winners: Esmaralda Ramic, Katherine Kruger and Thea O’Brien, congratulations!

    The raffle winners were:

  • Edna Langridge – 1st prize – Selection from our Bookshop
  • Cherise Trovato – 2nd prize – Fruit and Vegie Hamper
  • Ken Sharpe – 3rd prize – Movies, wine and chocolates
